Maanthurai Navarathri Temple Alangaram is a grand and divine celebration held at the sacred Maanthurai Temple during the auspicious festival of Navarathri. The temple transforms into a heavenly abode for the Goddess, adorned in resplendent garments, vibrant flowers, and intricate jewels. Each day of the nine-day festival features unique and elaborate alangaram (decoration) that depicts different forms of the Goddess and Lord Amravaneshwaran, symbolizing their various avatars and blessings. The serene festive ambiance of the temple attracts devotees who come to witness the majestic beauty and seek the Goddess’s blessings for prosperity, health, and happiness.
