Chapter 8
“O Deharshe! O Sutaputra! Who can be satisfied by listening to the stories of Siva and the stories of Siva devotees, who are able to give happiness and give goodness to those who hear them? O Suta! After that Markandeya, who is the most courageous and the foremost among the devotees of Siva What did he do? Seeing the sage Markandeya, Narada And what did he say? These things should be said with great respect,” said the Sudar, looking at the rishis who were listening with great reverence.
Hey researchers! Having said this, Markandeyar bowed down to Narada with great reverence and asked for a lot of support.
“Oh Rishikreshta! There is nothing they don’t know about the Sivakshetras of this land. Therefore, if I go to any Kshetra and worship Shankara, I should tell you which Kshetra I can conquer Yama.” Markandeyara, who was very devoted to Lord Shiva who bore him Looking after. Arriving
“O Vatsa! Markandeya! Ten yojanas away from here, on the shores of the lower sea, there is a place called Sarvotham, Mana Chvedarnaya, which is eternal and always surrounded by the assembly of the gods.
At this holy place, which shines with three holy tirthas, Brahma’s body was cremated at the end of his life and became white with the ashes
Hence it got the name Suvedharanya.
He places his foot on Naman’s head as soon as he puts his foot on this holy shrine. The glory of that forest cannot be described even by Adisesana, who created a thousand tongues. The Bharatattva sought by the Vedantists in that universe is garlanded with the bones of many crores of Brahmas and shines as a Lingamurthy even with Varai Parvati, who is always praised by the Rishis, with Jadamudi adorned with the third crescent moon.
Whoever bathes at least once in Manikarnikai river in the northern part of that lingam, he gets rid of all sins and attains Sivasayujya as one who is worshiped by Brahmadaganas. O Vatsa! If you go to that Chevedharanyam and worship God, you will attain salvation. If you bathe in Manikarnika every day, meditate on God, and do penance with dry and falling clothes as food, you can definitely conquer Yama. Prosperity can be achieved.
In this way, Narada Maharishi, the greatest of Jitendriyakadkul, went to Kaganamargam and disappeared after preaching the Kshetra to do penance and the necessary rules to Markandeya, who was determined to do penance. Then Markandeyar Santhosh Siddharai, thinking that his abode was in vain, became the perfect Swedavana Kshetra and left with the intention of worshiping God. There were good omens along the way. All Bakshis. How is this Markandeya going to defeat Yamadharmaraja; They walked in front of him, humming sweetly as if we were going to go and see. On the way to this Maharshi’s son Markandeyar, the sweet-smelling cool breeze was blowing along with kesaras full of fragrant flowers. It was as if he was saying that he who passes through this way can fulfill his abhishta. Many Aniras and Poorn Kumbhas came in front.
Seeing these auspicious omens on the way, Markandeyar Santhoshachitharai Japyeshvaram
He went to Konam, Mathyarjunam and worshiped the Lord Chandrasekaran, who was full of glory and attained various Vrikshas. Rishikootung
In that forest some Maharshi close their eyes for a while and do penance by meditating on Chandrasekaran who is Naga Paranara and Umabhagana in Hrudayakamalam. Some brahmins remain in Nishta alone in caves from postures called Virasana, Bhadrasana, Mayurasana. Some people keep sacrificial pots called chruk and chruvam and offer sacrifices in the holy Yagagni. Some are worshiping Shivalinga as Trikaranasuthiya and performing Anandabashpam Puruka Narthanam in ecstasy.
Markandeya saw the lingam which became a Vedic forest with such Vaibhava and was worshiped by Yaksha, Gandharva and Kinnarathi devas, self-evident and worshiped by Sarvada Rishis. On seeing that lingam, he shed tears of joy and fell down like a pole and worshiped
In this way, Narada Maharishi, the greatest of Jitendriyakadkul, went to Kaganamargam and disappeared after preaching the Kshetra to do penance and the necessary rules to Markandeya, who was determined to do penance. Then Markandeyar Santhosh Siddharai, thinking that his abode was something else, went to the perfect Suvedavana Kshetra and left with the intention of worshiping God. There were good omens along the way. How will all the Bakshis defeat this Markandeyar Yamadharmaraj; They walked in front of him, humming sweetly as if we were going to go and see. On the way to this Markandeyar, son of the Maharshi, a fragrant cool breeze blew along with fragrant flowers and kesarams. The trees on the way extend their sprouting hands, O Markandeya! It was as if he was saying that the Swedhavana passing through this way can fulfill your abhishta. Many Aniras and Poorn Kumbhas came in front.
Seeing these auspicious omens on the way, Markandeyar Santhoshachitharai Japyeshvara
After reaching Kshetra and seeing Japyeshwaran, he went to Kumbha Konam, Mathyarjunam and reached the Shvedavan which is full of Rishis who worship Chandrasekaran and is full of various trees.
Markandeya saw the lingam which became a Vedic forest with such Vaibhava and was worshiped by Yaksha, Gandharva and Kinnarathi devas, self-evident and worshiped by Sarvada Rishis. On seeing that lingam, he shed tears of joy and fell down like a pole and worshiped.
Paravasarai got up and performed Anjali and recited Stodram with Vedic verses. After having bathed in the Manikarnika river for three times as instructed by Santosha Siddhartha, he gathered with the Thirumeni who was decorated with the Rudraksha garland, having his left part embraced by Umaiyavala in the lotus position In Kalakauta he is poisoned and has Cirrus adorned with the moon , Jitendriyarai meditated on Param Shiva wrapped in elephant skin and forgot his body and remained like a motionless tree and did penance. He was sixteen years old then.
When Rishi Markandeya was 16 years old, Yamadharmaraja took his hand as Mahisharu and accompanied by the messengers called Andakan, Kalan, Vaichthan and Mrityu came to Suvedharanya with great speed and approached Rishi’s son Markandeya. Yama’s vehicle, the buffalo, roared with great terror
On hearing this thunderous sound like Kar Sandehi, the Rishi Markandeya looked at Yamadharmaraja standing in front of him and asked bravely without any fear.
“Here, why did you come here? Why did you come here? I won’t go to sleep without getting blessings. I have already told you, Lord Shiva, that you are the one who gave birth to nothing You should not come on time.
O Samna! By whose command the sun and moon move
By whom this whole world was created, do not fall under the apasara of that Lord. The sea does not cross the shore for fear of the lord’s power, whose power the wind blows; Do not trouble such a lord Parameshvara.
don’t you know Didn’t he save all the living beings by eating the poison of the Lord who was making this entire world miserable? You are Yama to this world. Yaman is your lord. You know. Will the fool punish the devotees of this Paramashiva, who holds Mount Merumala as a bow in his hand, and who has seen Tripuramitava Raya? Otherwise you will lose your Prana. O Mrityu! Your sagasam is not valid with me who is worshiping God. come back If you do anything other than that, I tell you the truth, you will be a disgrace to this nobleman’s forehead. Hey Yamadharmara! Now don’t force yourself and call me. I worship Chandrasekaran. If there is something I need to come to, stay outside for a while. After I pray we will both go.
O son of the sun! Don’t be spoiled without wisdom. Do not perish in vain. Go out without talking. What idiot would do something to anger the Emperor. Can you lick the sword with your tongue; Listen to what I say and act accordingly. If this Lord, who killed Cupid, gets a little angry, the entire Bhuvan Mandal will be destroyed. He will burn the eight clans and destroy the seven Sagaras. I worship the Divine Saranaravindhams of the said Supreme Lord according to the teachings of the sages. Hey Yamadharma! You can’t look me up. Run away quickly. What you came for is not valid. Don’t gnash your teeth at me. I said, “I told you that your work will not be successful.” Seeing the Rishi’s sons who were fearlessly speaking out loud, Maha roared with a terrible sound, performed Simhanatha, raised his eyebrows on his terrible face and became deaf to the curses. “O child! It is very nice of you to speak. Oh, I should not come to the place where you are doing Shiva Puja.. You have said out of childishness that I have no intention of coming there. Hey
Balaka! You do not know my prowess – my name is Kristanthan. He who also destroys animals. My name is famous all over the world. If I set my mind to do something, no one, be it Lord Vishnu or Brahma, can stand against me. I will not allow any animal in the world to remain on earth for even one minute beyond its lifetime. Bound by my terrible affection, to drag the sileshma across the continent, ‘O sons! O wife! Oh balls!’ “Crying” I take possession of the crying creatures.
Oh damn! You got mad seeing my prowess. You are proud that no one can oppose you as a worshiper of God. Fool! Now I will take you with my love and enter my world.” Saying this, his face glowed with fire, his red hair stood up like a spear, he bit his lip with his sharp fangs, he beat both his hands, his whiskers fluttered and he quickly raised the buffalo horn and held the affection in his hand
He took it and beat him with fury and without any mercy and used it on Markandeya Riddha, the Rishiputala.
Markandeyara, who was bound by the cruel Yamabhasa, got a little scared and immediately made a hard Gada lingam of the Shiva linga and shouted, “O Prabo! Deena Bando! O Achritha Janarakshaka! Sambo! Save me!” Immediately from that lingam, Paramashiva appeared with a body equal to the snow mountain and in great anger kicked Yamadharman in the chest with his left foot and stabbed him with his mace. Immediately the rope above Markandeyar was cut and Yamananavan suddenly fell down and fell to his death.
“O Jagatheesa! Chandramauleechwara! O Lord of Sanakadiyogis! Parvati Bhaga! I bow to you. Today I saw their Thiruvadis, which Brahma had been searching for for a long time. My happiness is my happiness. My Jan Silakyaam. O Lord!” A lot of marketers Looking with compassion, he said, ‘O Vatsa, to you
What boon do you want? Be a listener; Markandeyar, a devotee of Bhaktasikamani, bowed down to God and said, “I am happy with penance” and was very happy. ‘You will always be sixteen’, said Eesvaran with a smile and disappeared into the lingam like a flash of lightning.
Immediately the Apsara women danced on the four sides of the Devaganas singing the Pushpamari Varshika Tundupivadyam. Then Maheshvara, who was prayed to by the devas, appeared again and saved Yamadharman and said ‘O Yama! Be careful. Don’t do such misdeeds,” he said and disappeared again.
Blessed by the blessings of Paramashiva, who gave Markandeyar Chandrakalai in Jatabharat, and praised by the chants of Yaksha Gandharva Kinnara, the mother is saddened by the separation of her son. With the intention of worshiping his fathers, he left Chevedharanya and worshiped his fathers and mothers
After worshiping the child in this way, the parents were very happy and made a tight gadalinganam with their hands.
Oh Saunakadi Maharshi! Rishiputra Markandeyar is indestructible even in Jagat Pralayam due to the power of worship of Paramashiva who burnt Tripura and is watching many Brahma Pralayams. Sage Mrigandu was also accompanied by his son and after successfully conducting the Grihus Thachrama, he broke through the forest and gained enlightenment and attained the great position of Mokshananda.
Those who listen to and read this history of Markandeyar with devotion, have no fear of apamrity. They will attain all the blessings in this world like health, children, wealth etc.
