Chapter 4
Saunakadi Maharishi! After preaching to Mrigandu holding the veena called Mahadi in his hand, Narada, a devotee of Siva, became Maharishi, went to the Kaveri Theeram, where the rishis and devas were served and was surrounded by wonderful sands, and the sound of beetles on the northern bank of the river Gayatri was thick with beautiful trees. The sound of hummingbirds, the dance of flocks of peacocks Surrounded by animals such as samaritans, grunjam, hummus, chakravakam, fish, crocodiles, turtles, many ponds, and scented with lotuses and jasmine flowers, in Amravana, the lingam was seen by the self-existent Vyaktam, without any origin, and with the name of Sundaratneshvara.
Many ascetics worship this lingam with devotional devotions. The Brahmins who are the Karmadars perform upas through sacrifices such as Agnisdomam. This lingam
Due to its sanctity, this Kshetram is considered very sacred. Also, in this Kshetra, even though an atom’s worth of dharma is done, alam grows like a seed.
Sage Mrigandhu worshiped this Suttaratneshvara lingam with Niyamavira Dathi, restrained the breath with prana yama, restrained the senses from passing through it, restrained the mind without hesitation, placed his big toe on the earth and began to do severe penance. In this way, Sage Mrigandhu wearing a braided marauri and meditating on Sambasiva Murti, with Nagaparana and Chandrasekhara Ray in his mind, performed severe penance without food, in the middle of Panjagni in summer and in water up to his neck in winter. In no time Tadeka Dhyanapararai became a motionless tree.
Devendra and all the other demigods trembled at the sight of Mrigandu Rishi doing penance in this way and were very sad and said, ‘Oh, this Mrigandu Rishi is doing severe penance and will attain our position.
They sent many rakshasas to disturb. They were soon assembled with weapon styles and formidable bodies. People and beasts went to penance and stood around him with open mouths and scared him. They threw at him the astras which shone like fire. They did not approach him in any of the eight astras. He was ignorant of anything because he was a meditation on God.
In this way the lacquers sent by Devaraja were useless, Devendra. Calling Manmadan to send away the demons, “O Manmada! You will go to the earth with many thousands of Apsaras and perform vignam for Mrigandu”. Varshitan.
After showering the flowers like this. Let the breeze blow the quilts sweetly and hum, and here and there give out the mind-blowing scent.
Blessed are those women who take the divine veena and play the divine veena, and who have a conga like a lotus flower, who have a face like a lotus flower, who have a walk like a swan, and who are in between. By perfumes such as javvadu, attar, panneer etc By smearing the mixed sandalwood and removing the sthanabaras knowingly or unknowingly, they performed divyaganam in front and behind, and made even the restless mind of Mrigandu Maharishi a little excited.
Thus, when the mind was a little moved by the cupid’s drink, the animal got up from meditation and looked around to see Cupid, Vasantha, Apsarastris etc. Oh! It was not the gods who had arranged it in this way.
After cursing that his body must be deformed, Devendran calmed down and mercifully became deformed. He came to this Kshetra and said that the curse given by me will be released if Amravanesar is worshiped. Immediately, Cupid ran away as danger would come if he stayed any longer. Absarastris also quickly threw away the veena with shaking hands and feet and went to their respective abodes thinking that it was enough to survive with all their sarees slipping off and sweating.
Thus, when all the deeds of the devas came to nothing, the king of devas went to Satyaloka with the devas, surrendered to Brahma and conveyed the message of Rishi Mrigandu, who was troubled by fear. Hearing this, Lord Brahma looked at the Indrathi devas and said, “O Gods! Don’t be afraid. This Mrigandu Rishi did not do penance by liking any of your places. The abhishta of that Mahatma Mrigandu Rishi is different. God is going to fulfill his duty very soon. So leave your fear and go to your abode as soon as possible.
After hearing that, the angels fearlessly went to their abode, Swarka Lokam.
In Amravanam, Rishi Mrigandhu was meditating on Sambasiva Murti, which is composed of Sachidananda Swarupia and Pranava Swarupa, in the heart-warming lotus flower, just like before re-reading.
